Who we are

treasr is run by Studio Vala LLC, a Delaware company ("we"). treasr recommends credit cards that fit your spending, tracks welcome offers and card credits, and tells you when you are ready for your next card.

What we collect

Account. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID through Supabase, our sign-in and database provider. We never see your Google password.

What you give us. The cards you hold and when you opened them, points balances you type in, goals you set, your credit score range if you choose to share it, the filters and settings you pick, and messages you send us.

Linked accounts (optional, paid plan). You can connect bank and card accounts through Plaid. That happens only when you choose to, with your consent on Plaid's screen. We receive the accounts you pick (bank name, account name, last four digits, type) and their transactions (date, description, merchant, amount and category). We use deposits to estimate income so we only suggest cards that fit. We never receive your bank login. We keep six months of transactions and delete older ones every night. You can unlink at any time; we then delete that account's transactions and end the connection at Plaid.

Payments. If you subscribe, Stripe collects your card details and billing address. We never see or store your card number. We keep your Stripe customer ID, plan and renewal date.

Usage. PostHog records which pages you visit and which features you use, with your device type and country, so we can see what works. It uses a first-party cookie on treasr.app. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

To show your cards, offers, credits, points and recommendations. To send the reminders you turn on, such as a welcome offer deadline, a credit that reset, or that you are ready for your next card. To bill your subscription. To fix problems and improve the product. We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run treasr: Supabase (sign-in and database), Google (sign-in), Vercel (hosting), PostHog (product analytics), Stripe (payments), Plaid (account linking, if you choose it), Resend (email), Anthropic (sorts unfamiliar merchant names into spending categories; receives merchant names only, never who you are), and the Rewards Credit Card API (card data; receives card names only). Plaid's own privacy policy covers the connection step (plaid.com/legal). We may share data when the law requires it.

Card offers and links

Offers, fees, credits and earn rates come from the banks' public pages and card data providers and can change at any time. Confirm with the bank before you apply. treasr does not use affiliate links today; if that changes, we will say so on the page. Links to bank sites take you to their sites and their policies.

How long we keep it

While your account exists. Delete a card or a goal and it is gone from our database. Delete your account and we remove everything within 30 days, except billing records Stripe must keep.

Your choices and rights

You can see and change what you gave us from your Dashboard, turn reminders off, and unlink accounts. To export or delete your data, email us. If you are in California, the EU or the UK you have rights to access, correct, delete and port your data and to object to some uses; email us and we will act within the time the law allows. We do not make automated decisions with legal effects; recommendations are suggestions only.

Children

treasr is for adults who can apply for credit. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Security

Data travels encrypted, and bank connection tokens are stored encrypted. Access is limited to the people who run treasr. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you.

Changes

We will post changes here with a new date. If a change matters, we will email you.
